Trump Wants U.S. Docs to Say Super Intelligence, Not AI

President Donald Trump told the United Nations General Assembly on Tuesday that the technology the world still calls artificial intelligence should be “now, here and after, officially called super intelligence.” He rejected “any attempt to construct a globalist scheme to control” it, cast the contest as whoever wins Super Intelligence wins, claimed the United States leads China “by a lot,” and closed the loop with a policy verb: the United States will “encourage superintelligence… not rein it in.” The Department of Justice and other law enforcement, he added, can rein things in “if we have to.”

That is more than a rebrand. Naming is how governments write budgets, treaties, and agency mandates.
