AI-assisted content
Portions of our reports and visualizations may be generated using human-in-the-loop (HIL) AI systems. These processes are subject to bias, omission, or error. Users are encouraged to critically assess all findings.
AI-generated illustrations
Some articles include images created with third-party generative tools (for example, OpenAI image models) under those providers' applicable terms. Where a provider assigns its rights in the output to us, we use that output solely to illustrate editorial content published on culled.org. That assignment does not, by itself, grant us or you any license to third-party trademarks, characters, logos, or other intellectual property that may appear in an image.
When we label an image “AI-generated editorial illustration; imagined scene,” we mean it is an editorial artwork depicting an imagined setting—not a photograph, official venue image, or reconstruction of a real place. What we do not do: The Culled Criterion does not sell, resell, license, or distribute article illustrations as standalone products, posters, merchandise, or branded advertising. Illustrations are part of the Site's editorial package, not a stock-art or print-on-demand offering.
